jog

Jogged yesterday at Salt Creek. Little people all over- like ants. Lifeguard school. They make them jog up and down the beach. They're like ants on wings, dammit. Like a flock of them or a herd or whatever ants on wings are called. Anyway, they blew past me in both directions. Then they make them lay down in the sand and do sit ups and push ups and leg lifts and all kinds of awful things. And these kids are still buzzing around like dizzy bees. It's outrageous. Darn kids.

Ah- 4 day weekend- what can be better? It would be nice to have a cook out with my brother and mom. See his kids and grand kids. My aunt and uncle. My brother's grand kids are growing so fast and I actually saw them for the first time when my dad died. I never really wanted to be one of those relatives who lives in California. Wasn't my goal. Now I am. AND, I could have flown home for a visit, but did I make plans--nooooo. So it's my own fault.
