vacation week

We also went to the beach and both of us got sunburned. Yikes, me of the tan year round and her of the same genetic predisposition, except she's been under a rock in Wisconsin for a few years. SO we were both bright red. Live and learn. We drove down to San Diego and visited Old Town with my other daughter. Love Old TOwn. We found a cheap $5 parking lot behind a church, had a great time shopping and ate at a pretty fantastic restaurant. Mexican, yes. We also went to the Sawdust and Art A fair, shopped for clothes, and went to hear her former viola teacher perform at an Irish bar in Costa Mesa- The Harp Inn. Great Celtic music. Her teacher looked fantastic. She had her students there and they also performed Irish music. LOOVE Irish music.
Back to Chicago for her to present at a conference and then to Wisc. She has had a busy 2 weeks. She's a very good traveler.
By the way, my other daughter and her bf were treated to a trip to Las Vegas by her employer. Not bad. She took some great photos and seemed to like it. It is hot there.Her pix were really nice.
